"I want this to be fun for you too," I said. "This isn't just about me going out and..." I couldn't bring myself to finish that thought.
"And did you?" he asked. "Have fun, I mean."
My husband works hard to keep his tone neutral and it pisses me off. I want to know what he's feeling. Is he excited that his wife went out and slutted it up all night, or is he suffering from buyer's remorse?
I wish I could be sure of what to expect before I answer But however he feels, I don't regret anything I did tonight. I'm not ashamed. I smile and answer, "I did I did a lot"
